Yesterday afternoon, the residents, trustees, work team and other friends of the Home of Devenish met for a delicious afternoon tea at Castle Cove Sailing Club, overlooking the glistening waters of Portland Harbour.
The sun attempted to shine through the summer clouds, but even without it, the view was beautiful and the room was buzzing with conversation and energy.
We were fed delicious sandwiches, cakes and plenty of cups of tea.
Di Ludlow, Chair of the Trustees, welcomed everyone and thanked the people who have helped with the charity over the past year.
